Exhibiting Artists:
Greg Carlson
Greg believes art is a fusion of ideas, created by a moment in time. Hands of an artist touch you with visual experiences. While observing Greg's oils, watercolors, ceramics, acrylics, inks and charcoals, one can feel the electricity, the energy and anticipation injected in the beginning and ending projects. To disappear by entering into art mediums is immeasurable to him.
Michael Diven
Michael lives in Paradise, holds a Master's Degree in painting from SF Art Institute and has taught at universities in Montana, Nevada and California. He has exhibited nationally for more than 40 years and Michael's artwork is included in many private and public collections. The mixed media paintings and drawings cover diverse subject matter from dreams, memories and stories.
BJ Hastings
Barbara "Joey" Hastings' art career includes work as a professional graphic artist, freelance illustrator, muralist, portrait painter, high school art teacher, and teacher of the deaf & hard of hearing. She has always been fascinated by the female psyche and form. BJ's creativity and ingenuity are enhanced by her whimsical, fun-loving nature.
Patricia Houston
Patricia has lived her entire life in Shasta County. She began her journey into the art field with watercolor painting. The love of color put her on the path to making Lamp work beads. Using a torch, she heats the Venetian and recycled glass to a molten state, then forms the bead and uses that handmade bead to make a unique jewelry piece.
Dalen Muster
Dalen has been creating art in his mind all his life. He now applies it to film. The collection on display are currently his favorite pieces, having recently switched to 35mm film. The inspiration for this work is life, pure and simple.
Rajiv Patnaik
Rajiv Patnaik specializes in travel photography. He was born in Kolkata, India and moved to the United States in 1988 (then to Redding in 1989.) Rajiv's passion for traveling has compelled him take the last four years off from work as an Electronic Engineer to travel Asia, Europe and North America. His exhibition "My Wanderings" includes prints from the Himalayas, Tibet, China, India, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Europe and the U.S.
Bill Ulch
I am a product of my experiences, and so is my art. I can't tell you why I'm an artist, it is far too complex and personal a story. Art is something which happens in my life, regardless. I cannot not do it. I often have little understanding of how and why ideas come to me, other than to say that I feel better having acted on them.
