Geri Acosta
My art has been described as "passionate and colorful". I paint with an impressionistic flair on canvas with brush or pallette knife of figures, portraits, landscapes, flowers and still lifes. I particularly enjoy painting plein air with all of nature's beauty. I endeavor to give subjects meaning that surpasses their reality.

Having experienced cancer through my own eyes, as a friend or loved one of people with cancer, I present "Metamorphosis". My sculptures, made with 2,299 pink flowers, represent cancer patients in our surrounding counties from 2004-2005. Trees metamorphosing into something beautiful. A reminder of the people who have suffered with cancer. A reminder of their beauty, courage, sadness and struggles to survive. A symbol of life.
Patt Causey
My passion is assembling objects to channel them into new works. Using acrylic paint, handmade paper and found objects (preferably metal and wood) I strive to interpret through my art. My background as a textile artist shows strongly in my pieces. As I stretch into metal and ceramics, I know that my passions are textural and three dimensional. I can not keep my work flat and always look for new ways to forge new layers.
Susan Clarke
Experimenting with new "cutting edge" materials, I became fascinated with the explosions of color that developed on the paintings. After years of refining new techniques to work with these materials, I created paintings that look very much like art glass. Each painting has many layers of colors, textures and special effects that give a three-dimensional look. The passionate color interaction that occurs with these materials is mesmerizing to the viewer.

An an artist, I wanted to highlight America's foundational values of honor, sacrifice and freedom. I have a deep respect for those who have stood up for what is right - no matter the cost. I've chosen the theme "Justice For All" to explore our inherent rights to live free as well to extend mercy when given the privilege to do so. In honoring our past and sacrificing so other may live, our nation's legacy will stand.

I find digital photography and the use of a variety of computer techniques, often combined with traditional art, ideal for creating the abstract and impressionist style of art I enjoy. It is exciting to have used a computer in the creation of each piece in this show and to present an exhibition of all digital art.
Bethel School of Ministry
Each student wanted to highlight the beauty and destiny of Redding's many points of interest. As a school, they collectively envisioned a city where love conquered evil and where peace was found inside its borders. Each picture encases the student's dream for city transformation, where no one is hungry, unemployed, lonely, sick or without a family. Each canvas is a door into the future destiny of a city with treasures waiting to be revealed.
